Put The Worm In The Hole
Grandfather and grandson, on a stroll on their home lawn, spot an earthworm wriggling out of its hole. ''Son, if you put this worm back in the hole, I'll give you five dollars,'' challenges the old man.
The grandson goes in the house with the worm and, when he comes out again, the worm is stiff and he has no problem putting it back in the hole.
''How did you do that?'' the grandfather asks.
''I'll tell for another five dollars,'' says the boy.
''OK,'' replies Grandpa, handing over another five.
''Well, I used a lot of my sister's hairspray on it,'' explains the boy.
Next morning, while walking on the lawn the grandfather gives the young boy another 10 dollars.
''But Grandpa, you gave me the 10 dollars yesterday,'' says the boy, confused.
''Yes, son, '' the grandfather replied, ''but this 10 dollar bill is a special gift from Grandma.''
