Southern Belle in Paris
There were three southern belles that were sisters, Ellie May, Peggy Sue, and Sophie Joe. One day, Ellie May says to her sisters, ''Sisters, I would just LOVE to take a trip to Paris,'' and against her sisters' wishes, she went on her trip.
When she returned, she ran straight to her sisters to tell them about her trip. She said, ''Sisters, I MUST tell you about Paris.'' Her sisters were delighted to have her home and eagerly said, ''Yes, tell us!'' Ellie May cleared her throat and said, ''Well, in Paris, there are men who kiss other men.'' The sisters gasped. They couldn't believe their ears! ''What do they call them?'' exclaimed the sisters. ''They call them 'gays'' said Ellie May, ''and that's not all. In Paris, there are women who kiss other women.'' Once again, the sisters gasped in shock. ''What do they call THEM?'' they exclaimed. ''They call them 'lesbians,'' said Ellie May. The poor Southern belles were shocked to hear such things. ''Is there anything else?'' asked Peggy Sue. ''Yes, is there?'' asked Sophie Joe. Ellie May nodded and said, ''In Paris, there are men who kiss other women in their special flower.'' The terrified sisters gasped and said, ''And what do they call THEM?'' Ellie May smiled and said, ''Well, I don't know WHAT they call them, but when he was done, I called him 'precious'!''
